Ever since I got back into photography earlier this year, I’ve starting coming across a lot of photo contests. This is a great way to show off your skills as well as compare yourself to thousands of other individuals out there who are also trying to be as creative as you. It’s a chance to see what other can think of and a good way to also learn from what others do. You may not win, but it’s a fun way to get you to shoot about a specific category while improving yourself.
National Geographic announced their 24th annual Traveler Photo Contest that will run from April 5th to June 28th. There is a $15 entry fee per/submission however to enter the contest. Read more about the contest below.

The 24th annual National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest is here! The contest runs from April 5 to June 28, with an entry fee of $15. For those procrastinators out there, we’ve extended the deadline until July 11 with an increase of $10 per entry. We are accepting digital entries online in any of these four categories: Travel Portraits; Outdoor Scenes; Sense of Place; and Spontaneous Moments. Enter today!
