My Xbox Live is the app every Xbox 360 fan has been waiting for from Microsoft. Unlike other Xbox Live apps we’ve seen in the past, this one is an official Microsoft made product and it really shows. With its slick Metro inspired user interface that really displays the look and feel of the new Xbox 360 Dashboard, no Xbox 360 owner should go without downloading this. Microsoft spared no expense when it came to features on this app. There are only 3 pages of information in the app but each is filled to the brim with your Xbox Live info. The app will allow you to view the spotlight articles, check out all the social aspects of Xbox Live, and view all your games and achievements you’ve earned. You’ll even be able to customize your avatar through the app.

This popped up over at the Turn 10 Studios channel over at YouTube which makes it seem like it will be a playable vehicle in Forza 4. It’s the M12 FAV Warthog from the Halo series and it’s being reviewed by none other than Jeremy Clarkson from the popular TopGear television series. As you know, Clarkson will also be the narrator for Forza 4.
I’m a huge fan of driving games, having logged in tons of house in Gran Turismo 5 so I’m eager to play Forza 4, seeing as it’s the closest thing XBox 360 has to GT5.

*Note – Since E3 is this week, I’ll be posting up a few trailers for games that really caught my eye this year. Since E3 focuses on a lot of console games, some of these are for mature gaming audiences only.

Raptr, on of the most popular social networks for gamers, has evolved with all new features that make coming to Raptr all the more useful. Raptr today launched its new website which adds a new social news platform to the site that will allows users to submit news and view news about the games they play. Raptr is already one of the top sites for tracking the games you play so now, they’ve added a layer of personalized news to it that only delivers relevant news about the games that you play. Pretty clever.

This is probably the last Portal 2 trailer considering the game comes out next week. This one is entitled “Boots” and features what Aperture Laboratories calls, the Long Fall Boot. It’s basically a “suit of armor” for your feet.
Over the last few weeks, we’ve gotten quite a few enticing reasons to pre-invest in Aperture Laboratories: from the planks of tomorrow, to test-optimized bots, to the last word in pre-emptive defense, the Home Safety Turret. Today marks Aperture’s fourth and final Investment Opportunity video, and if it doesn’t get you reaching for your special investment wallet, you wouldn’t know a can’t-miss opportunity if it was staring you in the face, yelling at you about boots.
More teaser trailers from Capcom. This time it’s from their upcoming game, Street Fighter X Tekken, two of the most popular fighting franchises of all time.
Dead Rising 2: Off the Record was one of the new games shown at the Captivate event Capcom held. Here’s the new trailer for the game that will be featuring Frank West and his experiences during the whole Fortune City incident. Obviously this game isn’t for children at all, but I got a thing for zombie games.
Capcom released information at its annual Captivate Media Showcase in Miami which detailed three new games that will be appearing in its 2011/2012 game lineup. Some of the games mentioned were Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, and a new franchise entitled Dragon’s Dogma. Dragon’s Dogma is from some of the creators of Resident Evil 4 and Devil May Cry 4 so this might be a title to keep your eyes on. Other titles shown were Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Street Fighter X Tekken, and Asura’s Wrath.
