Valentines Day is fast approaching so if there’s someone special in your life, you better be prepared to sweep them off their feet or you’ll end up like this unlucky turtle here. From the creators of The Moron Test, they’ve made this little animated short entitles “Failing in Love.” Sure it has nothing to do with the game itself aside from the familiar characters, but there’s a lesson to be learned here and that’s to take a bite out of an apple first to make sure their aren’t any worms before giving it to the girl you like. At least I think that’s what the lesson is.
I saw this over at ComicsAlliance and I have to say that Superman Classic by Rob Pratt is absolutely fantastic. It really captures Superman in his earlier years when he stood for everything good and wholesome in the world. I really like the 1940′s feel of it even though Superman looks rather short in it. I hope Mr. Pratt makes more of these as I am eager to see how Superman will deal with the robot invasion.
I saw this over at Autoblog and having lived through the 80′s, Transformers was one of my favorite cartoons at the time. In fact, I still have a special place in my heart for the original ones so seeing this really brought back some memories. The above pic is just a snippet of the massive image. It’s hard for you young whipper-snappers and people with all that free time to know what us gamers with kids and jobs have to go through to get our gaming on but this web-comic by those funny guys at Penny Arcade pretty much sums it all up.
What we have here is a trailer from Marvel for The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. I’m not sure if it’s for a new television show or for one of their straight to DVD movies but all I know is that the animation in it is really bad. When compared to the stuff DC has been coming out with lately, Marvel needs to step up their game. It’s not like Marvel can’t get good studios to do their animations as Iron Man: Armored Adventures is very good as was the Xmen tv show and Spider Man shows. The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes is a step in the wrong direction.
Aside from the really bad animation however, I can see this being a fun show that kids might enjoy. That is if it is a TV show. Oh and can we also not use the cheesy 80′s style rock music?
