As you know, I’m a huge zombie culture fan whether it be zombies in tv shows and movies to zombies in gaming. Because of this, I do play a lot of zombie related games just to see different takes on the whole zombie culture. One of my favorite series of zombie related games is the Dead Rising series from Capcom. Not only does this game bring and accurate feeling of a mass zombie outbreak, but it also adds a bit of humor into the mix which is refreshing when surrounded by hordes of blood thirsty undead.
Dead Rising 2 is a great addition to the series and was the first to offer co-op play to the series. It’s an older game, but still one that is worth adding to your collection if you hadn’t played it yet. Amazon right now has it on sale for a low $19.99, and that’s for the special edition Zombrex version which includes a ton of extras. Even if you do own the regular edition, it wouldn’t be a bad idea just to pick this up for the extras if you are a huge fan of the series.

Halloween is coming up so what better way to get creative with this holiday than to allow your children to make some scary Halloween monsters! JustFun announced today that their popular Create A Monster HD app now includes a free Hallowen inspired expansion pack, free to those who already have the app. For those who don’t, Justfun has Create A Monster HD on sale right now for $0.99 in the App Store. Even at full price, this app is worth the purchase.
I’ve reviewed the app before here and can honestly say that it is one of my favorites apps that I have loaded on my iPad. My son always plays it and he comes up with the wackiest creations all the time. It’s definitely one of those apps that will get your child to be more creative with his imagination.

Just a heads up for those who look forward to these All Video Games Gold Box Events from Amazon, it’s coming again on Tuesday, September 20, 2011, starting midnight Pacific time. Hopefully there will be some good games posted. I got my fingers crossed for maybe Dead Island on the cheap.

I know I haven’t posted any deals outside of iOS apps lately but I received a bunch of discount codes from various companies to promote their back to school sales. I mean who doesn’t like a discount on a new piece of tech right? I’ve checked out what some of these companies sell and some of it looks rather interesting and with the discounts applied, seem like pretty good deals. Click on the read more link below to see the deals from Smartfish, Archos, Griffin, Scosche, and more.

With tons of different parts to use, there’s almost an endless number of monsters they can create with no two every really being the same.
