Previously only available as a Lite version for Android, DistinctDev saw fit to release The Moron Test Lite for iOS. The new version of The Moron Test Lite however isn’t just a watered down version. The new lite version includes the entire “Old School” section of the game which used to be the entire game. Since then, DistictDev has added more to the full version.

The Moron Test Sees 50% of Sales on Android Coming from Lite version; Unveils The Moron Test Lite on iOS

Seattle, Washington — Sept. 13, 2010 — DistinctDev, Inc. has just announced an iOS Lite version of their hilarious and wildly popular brain-teasing app, The Moron Test. Having generated over 50% of their paid downloads from the Lite version on Android, DistinctDev is excited to unveil the “Old School” section free on the iTunes App Store for the first time ever!
Since its launch less than two months ago on the Android Market, The Moron Test Lite has received more than 700,000 downloads. The conversion rate from the free version to the paid version has recently been above 7%, and The Moron Test is now the 9th most downloaded Paid app with over 65,000 downloads on the Android Market. “Seeing these results on the Android platform convinced us that a Lite version for the iTunes App Store was essential,” says Berkeley Malagon, president and CEO of DistinctDev. “We’re excited about comparing the performance across the two platforms and sharing the results with the community.”
The Lite version consists of the “Old School” section which originally made up the entirety of The Moron Test, and was the number one paid app on the US iTunes App Store at launch. The game tests players’ intelligence and acuity by challenging them to think outside the box. It includes more than 45 questions and the 100+ original steps that hone their speed, memory and reflex.
