Bad news folks. Gran Turismo 5 is delayed again! Straight from Taku Imasaki, producer as SCEA, Gran Turismo has been pushed back again but is promised to be released in time for the holidays.
Gran Turismo 5 is one of the only reasons I finally picked up a PlayStation 3 this year in hopes of being able to play probably the best driving simulator ever. I really hoped that November 2nd would have been the final release day but that is now not the case.
No new release date has been set yet. Please don’t let it be pushed back to 2011. There is only so long a person can wait. This game better be perfect when it comes out with the amount of time they’ve spent developing it. I hope they release more info soon.
We can confirm that Gran Turismo 5 will not be available this November 2nd, but the game’s release will be coming this holiday season.
We sincerely apologize to GT fans for the delay, however, creator Kazunori Yamauchi and the team at Polyphony Digital want to make certain they are creating the perfect racing experience, and we are confident that this ambitious game will exceed expectations when it launches.
