It’s great to see publishers supporting the Mac platform as there are many of us who own Macs and love to play games. DALLAS (January 6, 2011) – MumboJumbo, leading developer of casual games, has readied 10 titles for release on Apple’s new Mac App Store. The much-anticipated Mac App Store will open on January 6 and will allow Mac OS X Snow Leopard® users in 90 countries to access a variety of apps, including games.

MumboJumbo currently has eight games for iOS available through the App Store, ranging in price from $2.99 to $9.99. The company plans to launch new titles for iOS and Mac OS, and to re-release more catalog classics on the new Mac App Store throughout the year.
MumboJumbo’s history with Apple products dates back to the early 1990s, when sister company, MacPlay, published games for the Apple Macintosh. MacPlay was responsible for publishing classic family games such as Bejeweled, LUXOR, and Super Collapse! on the Apple Macintosh.
The Mac App Store is the latest innovation from Apple. The iPad, which debuted on April 3, 2010, is estimated by eMarketer to more than double sales to 19.4 million units next year. MumboJumbo participated in the launch of the iPad with 7 Wonders HD, a rune-matching addictive puzzle game.
