We posted up the preview gameplay trailer of Puzzle Zoo yesterday but today we have more information about Big Head Games upcoming title. The game will release with two game modes, Treasure Hunt and Puzzle Quest, and will also feature a third mode in it’s first update. Puzzle Zoo takes the popular match 3 concept and mixes in a unique puzzle mode, heaps of treasure and dollop of cuteness.

• Treasure Hunt – slide rows or columns to match 3+ animals to ‘send them home’, match with a Chameleon and get rewarded with Treasure, find 10 cupcakes to unlock Bronze Monkeys, 10 Bronze Monkeys unlocks Silver Parrots and finally 10 Silver Parrots unlocks the Golden Elephant. Post your Golden Elephant on the BHG Facebook page to win free games and join the hall of fame.
• Puzzle Quest – a mix of Rubik’s Cube and sliding block puzzle, rearrange the grid of animals in the fastest time. 3 progressively harder worlds. 60 puzzles.
• Openfeint Achievements and Leaderboards.
• Animal-Jong mode coming in the first update, Mahjong with animals and treasure.

Puzzle Zoo for iPhone and iPad will be in the app store at the end of March.
