Developer PSOFT MOBILE, which is located in Sendai City, Miyagi prefecture in Japan, witnessed first hand the destruction that the earthquake and tsunami caused on March 11th. They suffered some damage to equipment but were fortunate that none of their employees or family were injured in the disaster. PSFOT MOBILE is now doing their part to raise money by taking artwork submissions from users of their Zen Brush software. All artwork submitted will be credited to their respective author and all proceeds from the sale of the artwork will go towards charity for reconstruction efforts in affected areas.
If you would like to contribute to this, please visit the company’s website here for further instructions on how to submit your artwork.
We offer our deepest condolences to everyone who suffered as a consequence of the great east Japan earthquake and tsunami of March 11.
Located in Sendai City, Miyagi prefecture, PSOFT MOBILE was also hit by the earthquake. Some of our equipment was damaged and the difficulties caused by the disruption of the infrastructure supporting our daily lives continue, but we feel extremely fortunate since none of our members suffered personal injury and we are working on getting back on our feet. Amongst all of this, we became aware that many of you were using our Zen Brush iApp to create and publish artwork supporting the victims of the earthquake. This cheered us up immensely.
Surrounded by people assisting in the reconstruction efforts despite the continuing aftershocks, we asked ourselves if there wasn’t a way that we could also contribute. This is how we came up with a plan to collect everyone’s support art pieces for charity. Hoping that this will contribute to the recovery, all proceeds from this project will be donated to assist the reconstruction efforts in the affected area.
We are accepting every kind of illustrations and words of support from Zen Brush users, regardless of whether they are from professionals or amateurs.
