My Little TD is a tower defense game from developers Chaotic Kingdom. In the game, you are tasked with protecting your little farm from invading pixies. There are five different pixies, each with their own unique properties and strengths. You defend your farm using towers. There are also five different defense towers you can use. Each too also have their own properties and strengths. My Little TD is a bit easier than some of the other tower defense style games I’ve played but it doesn’t mean any less fun or challenging. In fact, My Little TS in my opinion might have a broader appeal and is a great introduction of the genre if you’ve never played a tower defense game before.
Like your traditional tower defense game, you build towers in order to defend the enemy objective. Towers must be purchased with coins that you gain by destroying enemies. You start with a small amount of coins in order to build one or 2 towers. As you destroy enemies, you’ll be able to build even more towers. You can place these towers anywhere on the field as long as there is a space there. During gameplay, black and white sheep will also enter the playing field. White sheep are your friends and will help destroy pixies. Black sheep are not and will destroy your towers. If you see a black sheep, you can tap on them to flick them off the screen and save your towers. Like I said earlier, different towers will have different effects on certain pixies so you’ll need to find the right combination of towers to destroy all the pixies.
My Little TD is a good introduction to the tower defense genre. With its different difficulty settings, it can be easy enough to play for even a child. That’s not to say that it can’t be challenging enough for an adult either. There really is only 1 field to play on with 5 different scenarios and 3 difficulty settings each so technically there really isn’t what I call variety in this game. However, it is a solid tower defense game and one you should consider if you’re trying to find one that the whole family can play.
