Capcom’s Street Fighter series has been and always will be my most favorite fighting franchise of all time. I grew up with these games and remember plunking down a ton of quarters on these games with my friends. I remember when we were all finally able to play Street Fighter II: Championship Edition on a SNES and it was the greatest thing ever. It’s amazing how far this series has come while still keeping the original formula that made it as popular as it is.
Capcom today announced as part of a press release that Street Fighter Volt, their newest game in the Street Fighter series on iOS would be seeing 2 new characters today – Fei Long and Yun. That means that the game now sports 22 selectable characters that you can carry around with you at all times.
It’s been a while since I’ve played any real Street Fighter series considering the lack of time I have these days but if I can truly relive my childhood on the go, I think I will be checking out Street Fighter IV Volt on the iPhone, especially since it’s on sale right now for $2.99.
