When Pigs Fly is a side-scrolling, endless type game from developer EnsenaSoft. In the game, you play as Penelope, a pig with high hopes of flying. To make her dreams come true, she has fashioned herself a pair of wings, determined to reach the sky. When Pigs Fly is mainly a tapping game that requires you to tap and hold at the correct times. Penelope will be traveling up and down hills while trying to gain enough speed to launch herself into the air while also avoiding the dangers in her path.

The game itself is easy to play. Penelope continues on a forward path so all you really need to do is control her flight, landings, and jumps. All is controlled easily with 1 finger with a series of taps or holds. Hold down the screen to make Penelope run, let go so she can take off on a hill and go soaring. Tap again to make her land faster and double tap on the ground to make her do a jump from anywhere.

Graphics are fairly good as well. Everything is nice and colorful while the character designs will appeal to most. I do like the fact that each time you play, the color pallet of the environment changes so it doesn’t feel so monotonous and doesn’t seem like you are playing the same level over and over again, which you really aren’t. The levels are randomly generated so each game you play is never the same.

When Pigs Fly is a decent casual game for players who just want something fun to play. With simple controls and one hand gameplay, most people will be able to just just right in and play this game. Most people will compare this game to Tiny Wings, which is quite a popular game, however I think When Pigs Fly offers up a bit more of a challenge thanks to the inclusion of level hazards.
