Color Monster is a simple color learning app from developer Wombi. It’s a children’s app that uses a cute, child friendly character to teach them their colors. The monster presents you with a group of fruit and you must feed him based on what color he calls out. That means if he asks for something yellow, you’ll need to tap on the banana and drag it in to the monster’s mouth. If correct, he’ll be pleased and call out another color. If incorrect, he’ll spit it back out and wait for you to feed him the correct fruit again.

There isn’t much to the game, but it’s simplicity will make is very easy for children to get in to. This app is really for those kids who are just learning about their colors and I think it does a great job of teaching it to them. Like I said above, the monster will call out the colors that he wants to eat. Not only that, he will also change into the color he wants so that adds a visual clue of what fruit he is looking for. The child just needs to match the color with the color he is displaying. That means that this app will also help children associate the names of the colors with the actual color.

Color Monster is a simple game that kids should enjoy if they are just learning their colors. Again, there isn’t much to the game itself but the cuteness of the monster and the ease of use will appeal to kids. There’s a lot of repetition in the game, but when it comes to children, repetition is something they need and respond to. Through continuous play, your kids will be able to learn the basic colors using this app. and they’ll be able to learn it in a fun and pleasant way.
