I’m a huge Star Wars fan, but mainly of the original trilogy since those were the movies I grew up with as a  child.  As such, I’m always on the lookout for neat Star Wars related products and such and ThinkGeek never fails to feed my need.

Browsing through their site, I came across this full sized R2-D2 trashcan. From the picture, it looks like it is about 2-3ft in height which is a decent size for a trashcan. As far as I can tell, it’s a very accurate portrayal of R2-D2 and it’s not hard to imagine him as a trash-droid.

According to the site, it looks like it was a Japan only licensed merchandise which might be why they are asking $159.99 for it. There also seems to have been a desktop version of it as well but it’s not available for purchase right now. I’d much rather got for the desktop version as who wouldn’t want a little R2-unit sitting on their desk?
