Run Roo Run is a micro-platformer from developer 5th Cell. The game consists of a series of short levels where you must get the mother kangaroo to the finish line. You see, she’s looking for her baby Joey and must travel across Australia to find him. Run Roo Run contains over 800+ levels, power-ups, and one touch gameplay. This makes the game very fun, challenging, and very easy to pick up and play.

For starters, playing this game is super easy. It consists mainly of just tapping and the occasional swiping. That’s it. You just have to time jumps properly in order to jump over and avoid obstacles. As you progress through the game, you receive power-ups that allow you to do things like double jump, glide, and ride on clouds. Also, as you progress, the challenges themselves get progressively harder and harder, but not too hard to the point where you can’t pass them.

Run Roo Run is a very fun game and considering that it’s free and contains over 800+ levels, it’s well worth the download. Heck, even if 5th Cell charged money for it, it would still be worth it. On a side note, my son is really loving this game. Since I’ve downloaded it, I’ve caught him playing it numerous times and for long sessions too. If you have kids, they’ll probably enjoy it too. Also, as a tip, if you are trying to get all gold on all the levels, make sure to reload the level after each failed attempt or else the time continues from your last attempt instead of resetting itself.

Run Roo Run is available now in the App Store for Free. It is a universal app and is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad. Requires iOS 3.2 or later.
