Tunnel Tail turn based action adventure from BEST Foundation. The story tells the tale of the Mouse Tribes and their struggle with the dark Lumini forces. The Lumini are corrupting other mice with their darkness and slowly taking over. This is where you meet Cezar and his small band of heroes. With your help, you’ll free the Mouse Tribes from the evil Lumini’s influence and save the world. If you haven’t guessed already, there is a hidden message being learned. It teaches anti-drug messages through incidental learning, meaning unintentional or unplanned learning that results from other activities.
I would best describe this game as similar in gameplay to something like Pokemon and old school Final Fantasy games where most of the story is all text based and static art work and then throwing you into a turn based style battle. For starters, there is a lot of reading required in the game as the game is pretty story driven. Also, all the tutorials too are text based so you’ll want to make sure you read those instead of just clicking as fast as possible on the next button in order to get to the gameplay. The battling is quite in-depth with lots of different tactics you can use as well as the typical strategy components you find in most turn-based battle games.
As stated above, Tunnel Tail does have a hidden anti-drug message. While the game itself never comes out and says it, most of the gameplay involves not giving into temptation and pressure. The enemies use all the little phrases that most people use to try to get you to use drugs while your mice friends say all the things that will keep you out of trouble.
Honestly, there is so much in Tunnel Tail that I can’t really go to much into because it’s better to experience the game first hand instead of me telling you about it. The entire full game is free and there are zero ads. I mean how much could you ask for? The game is quite deep with lots of replayability so why not go check it out?
