I don’t know if this was covered yet anywhere as I had not seen any information or news about, but I was browsing through the PSN Store (PlayStation Network Store) last night looking for new apps that they might have released and was pleasantly surprised to find a new Crackle app. I know for me, I’ve been asking for a real Crackle app for ages and hated having to use the browser in order to view movies on Crackle. Well, it’s finally here.

If you head over to the PSN Store now, it’s there. It’s a small download too. Once you have it downloaded, just start the app and you’ll be enjoying Crackle the correct way. It has a very clean interface and is much faster than using the browser. With this new app, the PlayStation 3 pretty much has almost all the same movie streaming services that the Xbox 360 has now, or at least the ones you want and need.
