This is a game that needs no introduction really as the original game, Temple Run, was hugely successful and one of the top games in the App Store. Temple Run 2 is the follow up to that game and features quite a few major improvements to all areas of the game. It’s been given a boost in graphics, gameplay, and challenge. Again you’ll be playing as an Indian Jones like character raiding tombs for lost cursed idols. You have just escaped from a temple and must run as far as you can while avoiding obstacles and not being caught by chasing monkeys.

As to not mess with an already addicting formula, Temple Run 2 is basically the same game but with a few improvements here and there. For starters, gameplay now includes sliding from ropes along with the usual jumping, tilting, and ground sliding. You’re still collecting coins and powerups along the way but now the running area is more dynamic. There are now hills and dips along with curves and more types of obstacles to jump over or slide under. It’s much more challenging now and definitely not as flat feeling as the previous game. The graphics are also much better this time around with the environment looking much more alive and real.

Honestly, if you enjoyed the original Temple Run, you’re going to enjoy Temple Run 2. It takes everything that was fun about the first one and cranks it up another level. The game is fast, fun, and challenging and it’s just as addicting as the first.
