TitleFX is a photo titling app from East Coast Pixels. If you’ve ever wanted an app that allows you to add text to your photos in a creative way, TitleFX may be what you are looking for. It’s not a basic app either as TitleFX includes a lot of advanced features which allow you place text anywhere on your photo and in any which way. You are basically only limited to the extent of your imagination.

TitleFX lets you either take photo directly from the app or use one from your camera roll. Once you have one selected, you’ll be taken to the main editing screen. The screen consists of a row of buttons up top and a row of buttons at the bottom. The only buttons you’ll want to be concerned with up top are the ones to add new text, undo and redo, and the export button. Most of the editing however will be done with the bottom row of buttons. First tap on the initial sample text that shows up on your image which allows you to edit the text. Type whatever you want. From there, you can move the text anywhere around the screen.

Using the bottom row of buttons, you’ll be able to change the font (which there are quite a few different styles to choose from), the size and angle of your text as well as character spacing and line spacing, font color, special effects (like drop shadows, embossing, or outlines), and lastly you’ll be able to choose a background for your text, if you want one of course. It’s actually pretty straight forward and very simple to use.

Once you are done adding your text, you can export your photo any number of social media sites such as Flickr, Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram, and Twitter. You can even email or text your photos to friends.

TitleFX is a neat app especially for those who like to add text and captions to their photos. It has a very easy learning curve and makes it easy for anyone to add professional looking captions to their photos. If you wanted to, you could even use the app to watermark your photos before uploading them to a photo sharing service if you are worried about people stealing your photos. Overall, I would say this is a very good app that does exactly what it says it does and does it with ease.
