This offer actually appeared a few weeks ago but was promptly taken down because their servers just couldn’t handle the load and how popular the promotion was. Well, it’s back now and Marvel is doing things a bit differently this time to handle the load. First register at Marvel’s page and sign up to become a member. Then anytime between now and 11:59 p.m. EDT April 9, sign up for the promo to be put on a waiting list. Instead of having everyone downloading their freebies at once, Marvel will be alerting users starting April 11th when they’ll be able to start downloading their comics. This way, they can staggered the number of users wanting in.

This is an awesome opportunity to download a ton of #1 issues and a great way to sample titles you may not have wanted to pick up before or knew nothing about. Also remember to download the Marvel Comics app on your iPad so you can read them on there.
