As most of you probably know, Sony pretty much stole the show at this year’s E3 2013 event despite the fact that Microsoft also showed off their Xbox One earlier in the day. Sony just seemed to have a stronger lineup of games in my opinion as well as strong support for the Indie Studios. The main points that pushed the PS4 over with gamers is the fact that there will be no restrictions on used games, no need for an always on internet connection, and the price point of only $399.
But the main reason for me that really has me wanting a PS4 are the games. Below are a few of the highlighted games that really caught my attention from the show. There were games I hadn’t heard of before and games that are sequels from PS3. I would say that the two games that really got me hooked were The Order: 1886 and Destiny. Which on a side note, I found it rather amusing that Bungie would have the first world wide reveal of Destiny at the Sony event considering their exclusive work with Microsoft in the past.
