Photo Blur (iOS App Review)

photoblur_iconThere are tons of photo editing apps in the App Store that do all sorts of things. There are some that do everything you’d want a photo editing app to do but sometimes, you just want to do something simple with an easy to use app that only serves one purpose. Photo Blur is that kind of app in which the sole purpose of it is to blur your photo so you can use them as abstract wallpapers for your iPhone.

Photo Blur is super simple to use. Upon starting up the app, just tap open on the top left hand corner and choose a photo from your camera roll to use. The app will then automatically blur the photo for you, though you can also adjust the amount of blur and luminosity on your own to suit your needs. When you got everything exactly as your like, tap save on the top right corner and it will save to your camera roll.

Overall, Photo Blur is a pretty decent app for what it does. It’s simple, easy to use, and does exactly what it says it does.

Description

• The square photo bug has been fixed and will be available as soon as Apple approves it. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Blur your pictures into cool abstract wallpapers and artistic images.

Create cool wallpapers from your own images. Also great for website backgrounds and profile pages.

Control the amount of light and blur you want to apply, from slightly out of focus to heavily abstract. Import and save to the camera roll, combine it with other photo apps, have fun with your image creations.

• Bonus tip: after saving the picture in the Camera Roll, when you want to use it as a wallpaper try zooming it – it may get even more abstract and interesting.
