If you have an iPhone, you’re probably also taking tons and tons of photos with it. Some may be content with just taking regular photos, but there are many out there who love editing them, whether it’s to enhance the way a photo looks or decorating it with cute stickers and text. I admit, I’m one of those people who sometimes likes to do this. With that said, I found this app called Doodly that allows you to add cute little doodles to your photos. You can either use one of their pre-made doodles or create your own. You can even add text to your photos with this app as well.

Like most photo editing apps, you can either take a photo using the app or import from the camera roll. I suggest using the regular iPhone camera over the built in camera on Doodly as the built in camera is too basic and doesn’t even let you zoom. It’s easier just to import and then crop the photo how you like. Once your photo is imported, you can add one of the many remade doodles that are available. You can size  them, flip them, rotate them, and even change their color. Multiple doodles can be added to each photo. Now, the neat thing about this app is that if you don;t find a doodle you like, you can make your own and they can even be saved for future use. You can even add text here with multiple font types.

After you’re done decorating, you can then add filter effects to your photos as well as blend effects for your doodles. I really like how many options they’ve included for you here. Once you finish all your editing, you can share you photo via social networks, email, or just save it to your camera roll.

I have to say, this is one of the more unique photo editing apps I’ve used in a while. This is mainly because you can create your own little doodles and save them for future use. You aren’t just limited to what they give you which means you can create an infinite amount of unique stickers. There are in app purchases however for extra creative fonts, but the app itself already includes a few pretty nice ones.
Overall, Doodly is a really fun app to play with. It may not be as seriously an app as something like Snapseed, but in my opinion, it’s very entertaining and produces some wonderfully amusing photos.
