Despite all a lot of big named games coming out on PS4 and all the various launch titles, the game that stands out most to me is RESOGUN. This is an indie game from developer Housemarque and published by SCEA. It’s a fantastic new take on the side scrolling shooter that takes me back to the days of R-Type and Gradius. Sure there have been other games similar to those since then, but RESOGUN is pure bliss. It’s a fast-paced, edge of your seat adventure not to mention how gorgeous the game looks. If you’re on the 30-day PS+ trial, that’s definitely a game you should go download and play considering it’s free this month for PS+ members. You won’t regret it. Heck, you might even find yourself playing it more than Call of Duty.
