It looks like rumors of a new Galaxy Gear smart watch were true and Samsung over the weekend unveiled not one, but two new updates to the Gear line, the Galaxy Gear 2 and Galaxy Gear Neo. Both smart watches feature updated aesthetics that seem to improve upon some of the complaints people had with the first watch. For starters, the watch looks a bit sleeker now since SAmsung was able to move a few things around. Gone is the camera which was embedded into the band and instead, the camera is integrated into the main body. The bottom of the watch strap also seems much thinner and less bulky. From a design stand point, it does look a lot cleaner than the previous watch.

What’s interesting of note here is that the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo will not be running on Android and will instead be on the Tizen platform. This was a rumor before and now its confirmed to be true.
