Indie developer, Double Eleven today announced that the popular PixelJunk Shooter franchise will be coming to both PlayStation 4 and PS Vita as, PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate. What makes this the “ultimate” edition is that it will include both the original game and its sequel in one, fluid package along with a host of improvements. PS4 will see major graphical improvements with updated artwork running at 60fps.

PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate will also feature both Cross Play and Cross Save functionality though no information yet if it will be a Cross Buy title. Look for PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate some time this summer.
