There are still some out there who haven’t played this and if you’re looking for something to tide you over until the next AAA title, why not check out Hotline Miami, coming out on August 19th. This game again is being brought to us by Devolver Digital and Dennation Games. Hotline Miami has garnered quite a few awards and has also had its fair share of controversy thanks to its over-the-top violence.

I’ve played through the whole game on the PS Vita and it’s a very good top-down shooter despite all the violence. I’d probably keep it out of the hands of young children, but I recommend it for any adult that wants to play something a bit more mature.

Not much in the game seems to have changed, though the game has been optimized for use with the DualShock 4 controller. You can use the touchpad to look around and lock onto enemies and you can shake the controller to perform execution moves.

For those who had already purchased the game before, you’ll be happy to note that the game will arrive as a cross-buy title so those who already have it and re-download it for free when it arrives.
