How incredible was it last night during Sony’s PlayStation event when Yu Suzuki came on stage and announced that he wanted to make Shenmue 3 happen? How amazing then is it that in less than 24 hours, the Shenmue 3 Kickstarter page has already surpassed its initial $2 million funding goal? As of 11:25am today (June 16th), the game has already collected $2,433,676 from backers. That’s an amazing accomplishment for a game that fans have wanted to see for so long.
