With the release of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series comes a whole slew of new cases from many different brands. One of those brands is Incipio who was kind enough to send over several cases for the Galax S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra. We’ll be taking a look at the Incipio cases for the Galaxy 24+ first, mainly the Incipio Forme and the Incipio Cru cases.
Incipio Forme Case for the Galaxy S24+
The Incipio Forme Case is a decorative case that seems to change depending on the color Galaxy S24+ you are using. It features a transparent gradient color design with floral prints that shimmer in the light. It’s a good-looking case and something a bit different from just a standard clear case or transparent-colored gradient case.
In terms of protection, the Incipio Forme is a dual-layer case, a one-piece case made with recycled materials. It features antimicrobial protection, scratch resistance, and apparently will not discolor. Not only that, it is rated for 10ft drop protection.
The fit is perfect too and I like that the case covers more of the camera area than other cases do which leaves open a giant rectangle.
Incipio Cru. Case for the Galaxy S24+
Next up is the Incipion Cru. Case which we have in the brown leather variant. This case is also made with recycled materials and features a co-mold design where the case is mostly TPU with a leather inlay. In terms of this leather case, the color could be described as chocolate brown. It has a fairly soft feel to it and the parts that aren’t leather feel smooth and comfortable.
I don’t see any specs on this for a drop rating, but the case does cover all the essentials on the Galaxy S24+, including the buttons. It has raised edges for added protection and I do like this is a fairly slim case, but still feels like it offers good protection. Like the other Incipio case, I like that the camera opening here is more fitted and isn’t just a giant rectangle.
FINAL THOUGHTS
These two cases are just 2 of three different style cases that Incipio makes for the Galaxy S24+. I like the Forme mainly because this is a different take on the clear case and the Cru. is neat too because of the merging of two different types of materials. Overall, they both look pretty good and are entirely two different kinds of cases that offer a good amount of protection and peace of mind for anyone who has invested in a new phone.
