Many of you may think all USB-C cables are the same but that would probably be furthest from the truth. There are actually many different specs of USB-C cables that you would use depending on your needs. Take for instance Hyper’s new HyperJuice 240W Silicone USB-C to USB-C Cable. This cable features 240W PD 3.1 Extended Power Range (EPR) which means that this cable is specifically designed for super-fast charging speeds and temperatures.

The HyperJuice 240W Silicone USB-C to USB-C Cable is a very well-made cable, made from a premium durable silicone jacket that has been tested to withstand over 25,000 bends. It’s also stated to be tangle-free. Each connecter on the cable contains E marker chips with OTP to ensure safe delivery of power and data.

In terms of performance, this cable is rated for up to 240W of power delivery which is quite fast. I don’t even think I have any devices that would make use of the HyperJuice’s full potential. What I do know is that what I did try it on didn’t seem to have any issues charging at full speed.

There are some limitations however with the HyperJuice 240W Silicone USB-C to USB-C Cable that you should be aware of. This isn’t a cable that can do it all. The data speeds on this aren’t really that fast at only 480Mbps and it also doesn’t officially support video output.

So with that said, the HyperJuice 240W Silicone USB-C to USB-C Cable is perfect for those who just want a cable that can handle all their charging needs in a premium package that not only looks good but performs.
