ROKFORM is a company that makes rugged accessories for a wide range of popular phones. Their main product is the ROKFORM Magnetic Rugged Case, which we have already reviewed for the Galaxy S24 series of devices. What we’re looking at today from them is the ROKFORM Magnetic Power Bank, which is a portable wireless charging solution for on-the-go emergencies. I’m a fan of these portable wireless chargers because you don’t have to fiddle with cables, and they’re usually pretty small.

The ROKFORM Magnetic Power Bank is no different when it comes to form factor. It’s thin and light and attaches to any MagSafe-compatible phone or phone case. Unlike some other portable charges, it is not flat in the back and is, instead, a bit raised. This is great for phone cases that might have raised camera humps. The ROKFORM Magnetic Power Bank is charged via a USB-C port which can also be used to charge the phone if the phone isn’t compatible with the wireless charging.

In terms of overall look, it’s pretty plain-looking and is more function over form. Speaking of function, the one thing that is really odd about this is that it doesn’t seem compatible with the Galaxy S24 series. I’ve tried it on an iPhone and even tried it on an older Galaxy S21 and it works on those to wireless charge. On the Galaxy S24, however, the charging indicator just turns on and off over and over again as if it’s not getting a solid connection. It’s really odd.

So if you have a Galaxy S24 series device, I wouldn’t recommend the ROKFORM Magnetic Power Bank. For an iPhone, it’s perfect. Other Androids you may need to test. If it was working correctly on my S24 Ultra, I’d say it was a solid backup power bank that fits on almost any MagSafe-compatible case.
