Armytek Crystal Multi Flashlight Review

Armytek Crystal

When it comes to everyday carry items (EDC), each of has has their own list of things we always need with us. In my case, it would always be my phone, keys, wallet, pocket knife, and possibly a flashlight. The last item, however, doesn’t need to be your typical flashlight. That’s because these now comes in all shapes and sizes and the one I have here is really interesting, mainly because of its form factor. It’s the Armytek Crystal multi flashlight and it’s a versatile little light that can be carried and mounted in a variety of ways.

What makes the Armytek Crystal so interesting is that it doesn’t look like your typical flashlight. It’s very small (fits in the palm of your hands) and can be carried or mounted in many ways. You can carry it around on a key ring, clip it to your backpack straps, mount it on a bike handle, or even attach it to the included headband to use as a headlamp.

In terms of looks, it’s pretty interesting to look at with its frosted clear body, which gives you a glimpse of its internals. The body is fully sealed and can be submerged in water (IP67) if needed. It also can withstand drops up to 10 meters. Charging is performed via a micro-USB cable (not included) and takes roughly 3 hours to charge the 600 mAh Li-Pol battery.

This version of the Armytek Crystal includes two LEDs, a 148 max lumens white LED and a 30 max lumens red LED. The white LED can project light up to 12 meters while the red light only 5 meters. Runtime per charge is about 50 days for the white light and 30 for the red. Operating the light is simple and only utilizes one button. Press once to turn on and off and press twice to switch between colors. Hold down the button to change brightness and modes. Modes include solid light and flashing light. When turning the light on and off, it will remember what the last color, brightness, and mode it was set to.

My favorite thing about the Armytek Crystal is how small it is. You can throw it in your pocket with no problems, put it in a bag, or leave it in your car. Its size lets you keep it anywhere. I’ll definitely be adding this to my small list of everyday carry items and won’t be leaving home without it.

You can pick up the Armytek Crystal here on Flashtlight Go.
