BAIR is a new company you’ve probably never heard of. They exist to provide design-centric tech solutions that combine aesthetics with functionality. This is evident in their debut product, the BAIR TAIM. This is a play on words, and the product is meant to “tame” the tangled mess that is your charging cables and manage them in a neat and tidy way.
The BAIR TAIM comes in two sizes – small and large, and is made of quality materials. Depending on the size you choose, it can fit Apple MacBook 140w, 96w, 87w, 67w, and 61w chargers, as well as Apple MacBook 70w and 30w chargers and the Apple Vision Pro 30w charger. Unofficially, you should be able to use this on third party chargers as well that are roughly the same size, but they can’t be multi-port chargers.
The material used on the BAIR TAIM is quite nice and feels like felt or wool. It fits snugly around the charger like a fitted sweater and allows access to the charging port and the outlet plug. What makes the BAIR TAIM so useful is the elastic strap. The strap lets you wrap your charging cord around your charger and then securely fasten it into place in a neat, tidy package. I’ve wrapped my charging cable around my charger before, but it always gets undone by the time I pull it out again to use. With the BAIR TAIM, that will never happen again and everything stays in place until it’s time to get used.
While not exactly inexpensive, the price tag seems reasonable considering it’s a company that is just starting out, and the materials and quality of the BAIR TAIM seem to be worth the price. If you don’t carry a lot of cables or chargers with you, this is the perfect way to keep a single charger and cable neat and tame.
