World of Warcraft fans know that this year marks the 20th anniversary of the beloved series, and with that comes special gear. Blizzard Entertainment has partnered with SteelSeries to create some really epic gear based on the award-winning Arctis Nova 7 Wireless, Aerox 9 Wireless, and a limited edition Artisan Keycap. We’ll be tackling this review a bit differently since we’ve already reviewed the regular versions of these so we’ll be focusing on the design and what makes these so special.

SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 Wireless – World of Warcraft Edition
The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 Wireless – World of Warcraft Edition is, at its core, still the same award-winning headset it has always been. For an in-depth review of the Arctis Nova 7 Wireless, you can read about that here.
What makes this much different from the regular edition is the World of Warcraft adornments on it. The top of the headband is coated in matte gold, while the adjustable nylon headband has a unique rune design on it. Lastly, the magnetic speaker plates are customized with the gold World of Warcraft emblem that fits perfectly at the center.
This combo of Gold and black is absolutely stunning and is one of SteelSeries best collaborations to date, especially with such an iconic game like World of Warcraft.

SteelSeries Aerox 9 Wireless – World of Warcraft Edition
Next up is the SteelSeries Aerox 9 Wireless – World of Warcraft Edition. This also sees the 20th-anniversary treatment. For a complete review of the regular Aerox 9 Wireless, click here. I should point out that this version of the Aerox 9 Wireless features some major changes over the original one.
For starters, this does not feature the “Holey Shell” and does not have the cutouts for weight saving. Instead, this has a solid shell, most likely to accommodate the World of Warcraft gold emblem on the top. Unlike the emblem on the Arctis Nova 7 Wireless, this one has RGB lighting on its borders.
Aside from the large World of Warcraft emblem, there is also the gold treatment on its 18 programmable thumb buttons, as well as a golden button up top.
SteelSeries made a great choice using the Aerox 9 Wireless for this, seeing as World of Warcraft is an MMO, and this mouse was purposefully built for this.

SteelSeries Artisan Keycap – World of Warcraft edition
Artisan Keycaps are nothing new for SteelSeries and their latest is a World of Warcraft edition depicting Azeroth’s change when the Sword fell. The keycap is highly detailed, and what I like about it is that most of the red stuff glows if you have your keyboard lighting turned on.
FINAL THOUGHTS
While the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 Wireless and Aerox 9 Wireless – World of Warcraft Editions bring nothing new to the table, you can’t deny the appeal of these Limited Editions, especially if you’re a huge fan of the game. World of Warcraft 100% deserves the Limited Edition treatment and SteelSeries delivered. Both are absolutely gorgeous, and if you get one, you should get the other.
While there isn’t a World of Warcraft Edition keyboard, the next best thing is grabbing the Limited Edition Artisan Keycap.
If you’re a fan of World of Warcraft, grab these limited edition items while you can from SteelSeries because they’re selling out fast and once they’re gone, you’ll most likely never be able to get your hands on these items again.
