The HP | Poly Sync 20+ is an enterprise-grade travel speakerphone made for professionals who possibly split their time between the workplace, home office, and travel. Perfect for conference calls and other audio, this version of the Poly Sync 20+ has built-in support for Microsoft Teams.

DESIGN
Starting off with the design, the Poly Sync 20+ is a very attractive-looking speakerphone. Most of it is made of plastic, with the bottom a light-whitish color while the top is wrapped in gray fabric. Overall, very stylish and would look at home on your office workspace or at home.
The top features capacitive touch buttons that control volume, mute, a customizable button, a call button, and a dedicated Microsoft Teams button. On the bottom of the speakerphone, there’s a built-in USB-A cable that can be pulled out if you would prefer plugging it into your computer instead of using the included wireless dongle. It is also used for charging. On the side, there’s a button for power, Bluetooth syncing, and a USB port that can be used to charge other devices.
Aside from the unit itself, you’ll also get a carrying case, a Poly BT700 Bluetooth adapter, and a USB-A to USB-C adapter. This is used for laptops that don’t have a USB-A port.

EXPERIENCE
The HP | Poly Sync 20+ is very simple to set up and use. Basically, just pair the device with your computer, or use the included BT700 dongle. If no wireless is available, plug it in using the built-in USB cable. Once connected, you just need to set your chat audio to it and you’re all set.
In terms of sound, voice audio is fantastic. People on the other end sounded loud and clear, and they didn’t seem to have any issues hearing me either. This works great with Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, Slack, and even Discord. In fact, I’ve used this with Discord while gaming, and it sounds amazing.
What doesn’t sound so amazing is when you play other types of audio with it, like music for example. The music just sounds pretty bland and tinny. There’s barely any bass and the music doesn’t sound very inspiring. However, for voice audio, it’s great.
Aside from that, I really like the HP | Poly Sync 20+. It’s fantastic as a speakerphone, and in terms of looks, it’s quite a handsome piece.

FINAL THOUGHTS
The HP | Poly Sync 20+ is an excellent speakerphone. It looks great, is simple to set up, and it sounds good. This is a speaker phone that can handle conference calls like nobody’s business, and it’s loud enough for everyone in the room to hear. I like the simple controls on the front that work as they should, and the battery seems to last a long time on it. In fact, I’ve only charged this thing once and haven’t had the need to charge it back up again yet.
With that said, I’m impressed by the HP | Poly Sync 20+. If you’re in need of a quality enterprise-grade speakerphone, definitely give this a look.
