Does the Google Pixel 9 Pro from T-Mobile Have Any Bloatware?

This is going to be a really short post because I wasn’t expecting this from a carrier-sent device. I was expecting lots of bloatware, especially after my experiences with some other devices from T-Mobile and even other carriers, but the Google Pixel 9 Pro from T-Mobile is surprisingly light on the bloatware. What is bloatware? Bloatware is those extra apps and software pre-installed on your new phone, computer, or other devices. They’re usually put there by the device manufacturer or sometimes by the carrier.

I’m happy to report that the Google Pixel 9 Pro from T-Mobile only came with one piece of pre-installed carrier software, and that was the official T-Mobile app, which is understandable. But that was it. There are no preinstalled games, no other carrier-installed utilities, miscellaneous shopping apps, or social media apps. Just one T-Mobile app and an assortment of Google apps. I wouldn’t consider the Google apps bloat since this is a Google Pixel device, and the point of these is that you’re getting that pure Google Android experience, which includes the apps made by Google.

This alone makes the Google Pixel 9 Pro a great choice for those picking up a phone from T-Mobile, as this is basically the only carrier-sold Android device I know of with almost no third-party software pre-installed.
