I’ve always found it kind of strange that there haven’t been more USB-C chargers out there that support more than a few USB-C ports at a time. The most I’ve seen is maybe 4 or 5, and most are a combination of USB-C and USB-A ports. So when I heard about Plugable’s new 10-Port USB-C Charging Station, the (PS-10CC), I knew I had to check it out. This is the world’s first 10-port charger with intelligent power allocation and 100W priority-based charging.
Plugable was kind enough to send us the new 10-Port USB-C Charging Station, along with Plugable’s 140W USB-C GaN Charger with EPR Power Delivery 3.1 and their USB-C 20Gbps 240W EPR Cable.

So the Plugable PS-10CC isn’t like your typical charger. This is more like a desktop charger that extends the capabilities of a wall plug charger. The higher the rating of the power supply, the better the PS-10CC will function and distribute power. This is why Plugable included the 140W charger with this for testing. While the specs online show 18W to 100W compatibility, it does seem to accept the 140W charger as well.
The priority charging of the Plugable PC-10CC is also pretty nice. What that means is that instead of distributing all the power evenly, it can prioritize what is plugged into the #1 port and down. This is great for devices that need more power than others.
The Plugable PS-10CC is made almost entirely from aluminum except for the end caps. This gives the charger a premium look. The slim profile makes it easy to place anywhere and makes for the perfect charging station for all your gear. For anyone with a lot of devices, the PC-10CC is almost perfect. I like that the power cable isn’t attached to it, but I wish the port that the main power cable attaches to was on the back and not on the side.

Despite this, the Plugable 10-Port USB-C Charging Station has been something I’ve been looking for, for a very long time. I’ve always wondered why no one made a USB-C only charging station, and now they do. This is a great addition to my work-from-home setup, allowing me to charge all my stuff at once without having to decide which gadget needs charging first.
