Incase not only makes accessories for popular devices such as the iPhone, iPad, and Macbook but also makes several lines of backpacks. One of their more popular backpack lines is the ICON which comes in several sizes. We’ll be looking at the Incase ICON Lite variant of this, which is the smallest of the three sizes. While it is smaller, it can still fit up to a 15″ MacBook Pro.
The reason I chose to go for the smaller ICON Lite backpack is because I wanted something less bulky that was still able to carry around my work laptop – a 14″ MacBook Pro. The ICON Lite does that perfectly, with enough space for other essential accessories. However, those who might like more organization might not like this backpack, and I’ll explain why in a bit.
The ICON Lite is made of 840D Nylon, which is a durable water-repellent material that offers exceptional abrasion, puncture, and tear resistance as well.

There are three compartments in the ICON Lite. First, the main compartment is spacious, with a faux-fur-lined laptop sleeve that fits up to a 15″ MacBook Pro. With the laptop in there, there’s still space for some accessories, a book, and a jacket.
The second compartment sits at the top and is also faux-fur-lined. It’s a zippered pocket and is mainly used to hold small items such as your keys, EDC items, etc. It’s not quite large enough to fit my phone (Galaxy S24 Ultra).
The last compartment is also not very large but can be used to hold larger accessories such as chargers, cables, etc. Note that this pocket has no organization to it and is just a medium-sized, slim compartment.

So, as you can see, the Incase ICON Lite bag is just large enough to hold your essentials. There are no pockets for water bottles or any internal organization. What it does have is slim styling, comfortable shoulder straps, and rear padding. That makes the ICON Lite the perfect bag for anyone who might not need a lot of stuff but still wants to carry around their work essentials without having to lug around a traditionally large backpack. However, those who carry a lot may want to look at one of the larger ICON backpacks which would most likely suit you much better.
