ACEFAST ACEFIT Air Open-Ear Earbuds Review

ACEFAST ACEFIT Air

ACEFAST might not be a brand that you’re familiar with, but we have looked at a couple of their other products in the past, mainly the ACEFAST Crystal T8 Earbuds and the ACEFAST PWRup 65W GaN Charger. Both were great products that stood out in their product category. While they also have a catalog of other types of products, it’s another audio product we are checking out, the ACEFAST ACEFIT Air Open-Ear Earbuds. These are built to be lightweight, ultra-thin, and great sounding.

DESIGN

The ACEFAST ACEFIT Air follow a similar design language with other open-ear earbuds. Basically, they hook around the top of your ear while the speakers sit just outside of your ear canal opening. While similar to others, the main differentiating factor is its thinness and lightness.

For starters, the charging case it comes in is the thinnest and lightest of all the open-ear earbuds I’ve tried. It’s only 24mm thick and curves down to the edges to an even thinner 10mm. The case itself is only about 54.8g in weight, and that’s including the 500mAh battery for charging. I also really love how the case feels. It’s really smooth and has a matte finish.

Moving on to the earbuds, the ACEFIT Air also has a beautiful design. The color and finish match the case, in this case, a silky matte white. The ear hooks are covered in supramolecular liquid silicone for comfort against your skin, while the part that is used for touch controls is a glossy white.

When compared to other open-ear earbuds, these are smaller and thinner, making them less bulky when worn.

EXPERIENCE

The ACEFAST ACEFIT Air may be my favorite pair of open-ear earbuds. The main reason is that they are smaller than the others, more comfortable, and they sound really good. There’s a considerable amount of bass you can get out of these, and the mids and highs are crystal clear. While the audio sounds terrific, I can still hear the outside world around me, although it does a pretty good job of drowning out the noises when you turn the volume up.

When it comes to controls, I’m still not a fan of touch controls, but on the ACEFIT Air, they work pretty well. Most of the controls are based on taps and long presses that are easy enough to remember.

I’m just happy that these sound really good and are so comfortable that I can keep wear them for hours without feeling any ear fatigue.

FINAL THOUGHTS

As far as earbuds go, open-ear types are one of my favorites. Traditional earbuds provide better passive noise cancellation, but they always seem to make the inside of my ears hurt after some time.Since these don’t sit in my ear, they feel much better for longer periods of time. They also sound really great and don’t lose out to traditional earbuds either. Overall, the ACEFAST ACEFIT Air are my favorite open-ear earbuds and, honestly, one of my favorite earbuds overall. Sound and comfort help push this to the top.
