DESIGN
The Lepro TB1 is a triple-ring lamp featuring a minimalist and modern design. When you first open up the box for the Lepro TB1, it comes in three pieces – the base, the triple-lamp unit, and the power cable. The lamp snaps into the base with no need for any tools, and the power cable plugs into the back of the base.
The lamp itself is all silver, while the LED housing is white. Build quality for the Lepro TB1 is very well made and very sturdy. The base is heavy, but made primarily of plastic, while the rings that house the lighting are made of metal. The rings sit on a swivel and can be adjusted form the skeleton of a ball. Once you have it set up, there should be no reason for you to have to make any adjustments to it again. Speaking of which, while the lamp may look like it takes up a lot of space, the base is actually pretty compact and doesn’t take up too much table space. It’s the space above the base that you’ll need room for.
Once set up, the lamp looks very modern with its circular design.
EXPERIENCE
This isn’t your ordinary smart lamp. The Lepro TB1 is packed with features. In terms of lighting, the map offers adjustable brightness levels and temperature settings as well as the inclusion of RBG lighting. Of course, all of this must be controlled from the Lepro companion app, which is available on iOS and Android.
Speaking of which, the Lepro app is what makes the Lepro TB1 so smart. You’ll need the app for setting up the lamp, which includes connecting the lamp to your Wi-Fi network. The app allows remote control of power, brightness, color temperature, and RGB color selection. It also has voice capabilities for hands-free control, and an AI assistant that can choose different lighting modes based on your mood. I should mention that the Lepro TB1 also works with Google Home and Alexa, but not with Apple Homekit.
FINAL THOUGHTS
As far as table lamps go, the Lepro TB1 AI Smart Table Lamp is pretty good and doesn’t cost too much. I like that it’s easy to set up, and it’s not too hard to figure out how to control it with the app. I do wish that there were more controls on the actual lamp so I could adjust settings other than just on and off with the button. But aside from that, the lamp does look good and adds a nice bit of modern flare to any room.
