As you know, Easter is coming up and with any holiday comes a flood of holiday themed games for the App Store. Easter is no different and has already seen its share of Easter themed updates and releases. Today though, Hothead Games releases something a bit different and much more fun than your usual Easter themed games. Their latest game, Bunny the Zombie Slayer takes Easter games to a whole new level with the inclusion of zombies! In the game, you play the part of the Easter Bunny who must fend off egg loving zombies who are trying to steal them from children. The Easter Bunny must use his arsenal of color eggs to keep the zombies at bay. This is one game that really gives the Easter Bunny some street cred.

VANCOUVER—21st April 2011 – Bunny the Zombie Slayer, the first iOS title from Canadian developer Hothead Games, launched today on the App Store for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
In the game, players control a heroic bunny, who must protect children searching for his eggs from waves of Zombie Hordes. These once-deceased characters (nurses, businessmen, cheerleaders and more) will stop at nothing to take what is most precious from these young ovo-searchers. Using the Bunny’s weapon of choice, brightly colored eggs, players will unleash a yolky fury to dismember and decapitate the undead. Aim for the head!
