Goaaal! Soccer is a sports title from developer Skyworks Interactive. They seem to making a name for themselves with all the sports games they have been coming out with lately and Goaaal! Soccer is just one of the latest entries. In the game, you are tasked with trying to make the most goals you can with the limited number of balls given to you. There are other games out there inthe App Store that are similar to this, so how does Goaaal! Soccer compare? Read on to find out.

Gameplay in the game is simple to learn. You just need to know how to flick the ball. Once you learn the mechanics of how to play the game, you’ll be kicking goals in no time. Kicking the ball is based on flicking it with your finger. You can kick the ball straight or to curve it, flick the fall on the side. The ball will also go in whatever direction you flick it. How powerful your kicks are depends on how hard you flick it. You can also pick up the ball by holding it down for a couple of seconds and then dragging it left or right.

There are 2 modes of play in Goaaal! Soccer. First is Arcade Mode which gives you just 10 balls to try and score the highest score possible. The second mode is Progressice Mode. In this mode, you also start off with 10 balls but can gain more balls if you hit the bonus targets or with each new badge earned. Both are good modes, though obviously you get much higher scores on progressive mode.

Goaaal! Soccer is a fun casual soccer game. Since it’s just a game about making goal shots, it’s a bit more appealing to your average gamer. It’s basically a pick up and play game that isn’t too hard to master. The only issue I had with the game is that Skyworks makes you sign up for their own proprietary network in order to upload your score to the leaderboards. Why couldn’t they just include GameCenter or OpenFeint compatibility instead since more people are already on those services? Despite this issue, Goaaal! Soccer is still a very fun game and one that most people will enjoy.

With every target hit and badge earned, you’ll earn another penalty kick. Catch “on fire” by scoring on 5 shots in a row.
