Gearbox Software today announced on their Twitter that there will be a Borderlands Game of the Year Edition which will be available in October. The Game of the Year Edition promises to be feature packed with all current DLCs and a bonus map. Borderlands GOTY Edition will be available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

If you still have yet to play Borderlands, October would be the perfect time to finally pick it up. It was one of my favorite games of 2009/10 and I spent hours and hours on XBL with my friends playing it.
