Today marks the 25th Anniversary of one of gaming’s most recognizable icons and gaming franchises, Super Mario Bros. Being 33 years old, I started gaming around the time when Nintendo introduced the first Super Mario Bros. game on the Nintendo Entertainment System. I was about 8 years old I believe. Ever since then, I’ve played almost every Super Mario Bros. game that has come out since on both console and hand held platforms. Many of the Nintendo consoles I bought just to play Super Mario Bros. Even the Nintendo Wii. I’m not a big fan of the console but I purchased it just to play Super Mario titles and to pass on my love of Super Mario Bros. to my son who is just beginning to game.
