THQ announced the release date of their upcoming uDraw GameTablet for the Nintendo Wii and it will arrive on store shelves November 14th. The uDraw GameTablet and software is exclusive to the Nintendo Wii and is an educational art-based video game for all ages. Using the included art pad and stylus, players can create works of art using any of the included onscreen drawing tools.
I’m pretty excited about this because my 4 year old son is really into art right now and I want to encourage it as much as I can. I have a WACOM tablet attached to my home PC but the software I use it for just isn’t very children friendly and it’s quite difficult for him to really do anything on it. That’s why when I saw the uDraw GameTablet and uDraw Studio, I knew it was something that I would have to look into as soon as it comes out.
I highly encourage the arts to any parent out there and if you own a Wii, this would be a great gift to give your child. Kids are very creative and you might be surprised at how great an artist your child might actually be.
