SEGA of America announced the return of possibly one of the greatest puzzle games in all of Dreamcast history – ChuChu Rocket!ChuChu Rocket will be released for both iPhone and iPod Touch as well as a special version for the iPad that will include 4 player simultaneous play. ChuChu Rocket! will feature over 140 puzzles and 24 multi-player levels for up to 4 player wireless action. Very exciting.

I have fond memories of ChuChu Rocket! during the Dreamcast’s life span and it was a game that I played often. I in fact still own an original copy of the game which I go back to every now and then. The fact that SEGA is now going to release the game on iOS is fantastic and means that I can basically play ChuChu Rocket! now whenever I want, where ever I want.

ChuChu Rocket! will be available later this month for $4.99 when it arrives in the App Store.

SEGA® of America, Inc. and SEGA® Europe Ltd. today revealed a new trailer previewing the return of Dreamcast™ puzzle game, ChuChu Rocket!™, which gives fans a first look at gameplay in the all-new version coming soon to the App Store. ChuChu Rocket! asks players to place tile arrows and guide mice called ChuChus through a variety of obstacles (while avoiding the paths of evil cats) to the safety of their rocket ship. The game will offer over 140 puzzles to challenge new and veteran players, including 24 multi-player levels for up to four players wirelessly. iPad users will also enjoy an exclusive multiplayer battle feature that allows up to four people to play the game on a single iPad!
