If you’re a fan of realistic ball physics, then you’ll be a fan of Toy Balls! from developer Cazual Games. Toy Balls! is a puzzler with physics based elements thrown in. The object of the game is to match up 3 or more similar balls as they are dropped. The more balls you link up at once, the more points you get. Don’t make the mistake of letting the screen fill up with too many balls though as the game will end if they touch the “zapper.” Toy Balls! is quite challenging but the gameplay itself is simple enough that it can be enjoyed by players of all ages and skill.
The game obviously features balls, balls of all shapes and types. These different types of balls all feature their own mass and elasticity. That means that each ball bounces differently and each ball also affects the levels differently because of their weight. It’s helpful to know which balls are heavier than others because this will help you survive longer as well as to keep your balls away from the zapper.
Graphically, Toy Balls! looks great. Retina Display support is a plus and all the balls look very realistic. The wood grain on each level also look very good and realistic, again thanks to the Retina Display support. The level designs are varied and creative with no two levels looking the same.
Toy Balls! has Game Center support so you’ll be able to track your high scores against that of your friends and other as well as tracking achievements to show off your skills.
Toy Balls! is definitely a fun game to play that both kids and adults will enjoy. The puzzler element along with the challenge will keep most adults busy in their efforts to obtain a high score while the fun colorful nature of the game will appeal to the children. The real challenge that most will find quite difficult but will end up trying to obtain over and over again is obtaining the elusive 3-star rating on each level. I was playing all last night and I’ll say that it’s the most difficult challenge to complete. Even getting 2-stars is hard enough. Toy Balls! is very addicting and hard to put down once you start. I dare say that is has the charm of Tetris and is just as addicting and challenging.

SAVE YOUR BALLS!
Toy Balls! combines realistic ball physics with simple, yet accurate, game controls. Swipe your finger across 3 or more balls of the same kind to save them and gain points. It’s that easy to learn and play!
The more balls saved, the more will fall in, pushing them closer to the electro zapper. Think about their physical properties before you chain them. Certain balls will bounce more, while others weigh more, therefore affecting the game play. Every level has different obstacles and electro zappers. It is not always easy to save your balls!
BE A 3-STAR PLAYER
Depending on your score at each level, you are awarded up to three stars. In some levels this is easy, in others it is deviously difficult, so you will have to use your head and skills to collect as many stars as you can. Always remember that the longer the chain, the higher the scores and achievements obtained. And, who knows, by maximizing your score you may unveil a well-kept secret in the future!
