Astro Gaming announced an update to their award winning A40 gaming headset and is calling it the A40 2011 Edition. They will still be available in the classic white and black colors but everything else has been enhanced and updated. The A40 2011 Edition features an improved microphone that helps filter out background noise so that your voice is heard loud and clear. They also feature enhanced audio bring more bass and richer sounds thanks to the updated cushions that also improve comfort and help block out outside noises.

If you already own a pair of A40’s, you’ll be happy to hear that you’ll also be able to upgrade your current set to 2011 Edition specs with the Tournament Upgrade Kit that will consist of a new mic and new ear pads. This will be released at a later date.
