HeyHey Pix – A Creative Photo Decorating App [iOS Review]

heyhey_pix_iconHeyHey Pix is only the second app from developer HeyHey Apps after quite a long hiatus. While their last app was a coloring app, this one is a camera app that will allow you to decorate your photos with graphical elements from famed street artist, Bue the Warrior. What the app basically does is allows you to snap a photo of a person, place, or thing and then decorate the scene with over 240 stickers that can be resized, rotated, and reversed to create something far more creative and imaginative than the original photo.

When you first start the app, you are given the option of either using an existing photo from your photo album or taking a new one. Photos are taken in a square format. Once you have your photo loaded up, you’ll find all the stickers you can use loaded up at the bottom. They arranged by category and each category is represented by a different color. You add stickers by dragging the one you want to use to the photo. They can be resized and by pinching them and rotated by using two fingers. To flip the image, double tap on it.

You can add as many stickers as you want to your photo. Tapping on a sticker element will bring it to the front so this allows for some creative arrangement. Once you are done with your masterpiece, you can save to your photo album or share them via social networks or email. You can even open them up in other apps.

That’s pretty much all there is to HeyHey Pix. It’s just a really creative camera app that allows you to decorate your photos in the style of Bue the Warrior. If you’re a fan of his, you’ll probably want to check this out. Even if you’re not, it’s a neat app with lots of creative ways to spruce up your photos.
