Wellwater – How Fast Can You Can You Lower a Bucket (iOS App Review)

wellwater_iconCasual games still reign supreme on iOS and that’s mainly due to how easy it is to just pick up your phone and play something quick. Gameplay can range from simple tapping to more complex puzzle solving. For those who prefer the former and want their games to be simple time wasters, check out the latest from Colideon, Wellwater. Wellwater is a simple game to see how quickly you can lower a bucket into a water well while shooing away bees and dogs who try to hinder your progress.

The game is very simple to play. Basically all you do is swipe down on the screen where the rope is in order to lower the bucket down. On the top left there is a number that shows you how far you have to lower it and on the right is the amount of time you’ve used up. What you do is just keep swiping until the number on the left hits zero. Tab twice on bees that appear to get rid of them and 3 times on dogs that appear. That’s pretty much all there is to the game. Again, this is mainly just a simple time waster to see how fast you can lower a rope.

Overall, Wellwater is just a simple game you can play if you need to kill a few minutes. There really isn’t any other point to the game except for seeing how quickly you can do it and where you sit on the leaderboards. Yes, there are leaderboards and you’ll be able to compare scores with friends over Game Center. The game is free to play so might as well give it a try and see how you like it.
